flavors of granny smith apples and
Anjou pears
on the nose are whisked across the
palate with a zippy crispness and lilting
acidity. The gravelly, mineral laden
note of the vineyard mingles with a
subtle tropicality reminiscent of just
ripe pineapple and kumquats. Hints
of lemongrass linger
on the finish. Brisk and refreshing, superb
with fish!

This 2009 Chardonnay has a brilliant light golden hue. Lush exotic fruit on the nose is interlaced with nuances of vanilla from the French oak. While barrel aging adds yet another layer of richness and complexity, on the palate it is refreshingly light in texture. Mid-palate finds notes of Asian pear and finally a creamy lemon custard on the lingering finish. Opulent in a tasteful manner.

A favorite of Pinot lovers near and far, this enviable wine enjoys a rich, brilliant ruby-like hue. A swirl in the glass releases an enticing aroma with subtle notes of cherry and berries along with just a hint of smokiness. Generous up front wild cherry, then hints of cola, plum and blueberry. The fruit turns supple in the mid-palate with a refined and full-bodied finish. Our 2009 Pinot is drinking beautifully now and will continue to develop complexity for some time. Cellar through 2019.

A swirl produces glycerin-like “legs”
as the wine cascades its deep color down
the sides of the glass and unleashes a
perfumed nose of violets mingling with
sweet tobacco leaf, camphor and rich earth.
The velvety texture glides the wine across
the palate with framboise, pepper spice
and red plum skin mingling with blueberry
and dried fig, along with a hit of black
strap molasses at the finish.
